SoCalBio Initiates a Network for Human Resources Professionals in Southern California Device, Pharma and Biotech Companies

Spearheading the effort is MannKind Corporation's Executive VP for Human Resources Diane Palumbo (photo right). According to Ms. Palumbo, "this network will provide leadership and educational opportunities for the development of the Southern California HR executives and professionals workin in device, biotech, IVD  and pharma companies. It will also serve as an advocate for the HR profession in our region. As a professional HR network, we will: 

  • Provide networking and mentorship opportunities;
  • Leverage our expertise to create a rich learning environment to give SoCalBio members the tools and information they need to be the best in their field;
  • Share among our membership best HR practices, ideas and experiences that will enable us to be an acknowledged resource, developing highly ethical and effective performance standards for our profession;
  • Embrace and promote strong business partnerships, strategic initiatives and innovative programs;
  • Provide SoCalBio members with discounted rates for HR services; and
  • Shape the future of the HR profession within the life science Industry."

Edwards Lifesciences to Open New Utah Facility
